Bike registration, NH?

So I think I have figured it out. I had registered my bike for 2008 but when Nov of 2008 came around I didn't have the cash to register it for 2009 and long story short the money never came in. I didn't have the cash to reregister it until now. From what my coworkers are telling me is that because It was already a registered vehicle I have to pay 2009 registration and then in Nov pay 2010. If it was a first time registration then I would have got a 14 month reg and not this pay twice bullshit.

too bad you learned the system after letting the bike sit idle for 10 months you have to pay for without using it, when I learned, I only let the registration lapse for 2 months

if you let it lapse for over a full year, you don't get hit for the lapse in registration

Yea that is what the clerk said. So come Nov I can reg it and I get new plates. I hate learning things the hard way
