Why does it take BikeBandit so long to process an order? I ordered some Triumph parts on Dec 1st. My order is still "In Progress."
WTF MATE.
Rant over
Could be on back order. Some companies hate saying that because people like to cancel. Give them a ring or shoot them an email asking the status.

I can resist everything but Pete's mom.
I tried that once back when I got my Daytona. I'll never order from them again unless I'm not in a hurry for their parts. I believe there is a disclaimer right on the fiche page that states orders can be delayed 5-10 days for Triumph parts. When you place the order BikeBandit then needs to order them from Triumph, then when they receive them they box them up and mail them to you.
I know their site is convenient with the fiche and all but now whenever I need Triumph parts I call Triumph Detroit.

BB is hilarious: I wanted a tire tube for $4.95 but it was out of stock. I clicked on the "notify me" when it becomes available. A couple days later I got an email, "We have your item in stock!", for $29.95......
Yeah I've never had much luck at all with order processing at BB. They are just a middle man so it takes forever. It is a convenient place to get OEM parts but you definitely have to wait. Whenever possible I order from MotoSport.com or DennisKirk.
I have used BB in the past. Ordered an OEM part and they shipped me the wrong item. It took forever to get the wrong item and even longer to fix the problem which they blamed on me so I had to pay the OEM restocking fee too. I`m done with them.
I used to order from them in the past. Never really had issues but I do remember their processing took a little longer than expected.
So I just poke to Suzuki/Triumph of Swansea for a smaller order I placed last week.
Triumph won't ship an order unless it's at least $200 or else you are charged a $55.00 "fee."
They're fine if you're not in a rush because they tend to be cheaper for jap parts. But with the triumph I've noticed the dealer is always within $5 for the expensive stuff. If you don't have a local dealer, pure-triumph is great but for parts not listed you do have to call them. It was actually cheaper for me to buy a stock chain and sprocket set through them then go after market.
If they're servicing bikes AT ALL they're easily making up a $200 order within a day or two. Between service and people walking in off the street like you ordering their parts, that $200 mark is pretty easily attainable in a short time.
Maybe you need to find a larger volume dealer?
I don't know of any other Triumph dealer
I like the site, but I've had similar experiences. It seems to take forever when ordering original misc. parts. Maybe because my bike is ancient? And they usually fail to send any notification until well in to the waiting. Eventually they'll decide they can't get one of the parts, ~2 weeks after placing the order, and ship the rest.
It is kinda neat to have a part arrive in a Kawasaki-stickered bag where the sticker has started to yellow. Was probably bagged around the time I was born.

My experience is opposite. Individual dealers do far less business on parts ordering than a huge international website like BikeBandit. "support your local dealer", so I did. I remember being told something would be here in two days. A week and a half later, I call, "Yeah, two days after we order it. We need to wait until we get enough to place an order". Grrrr

i've had good luck with BB, just yea don't be ready to get your stuff in a day or two, this side of the country and all.
i will say their tires ship ridiculously quick, sometimes get them next day from, i assume WPS out of PA.
My experience has been uniformly positive with BB, but all of my bikes have been Japanese. They've also been been as fast or faster than my ordering locally.
Go fast. Have fun. Repeat.

My son ordered OEM Triumph "Engine Dresser Bars" (a.k.a. crash bars) for my Tiger 800 from Bike Bandit as a birthday gift for me. It took three weeks for them to come in, and when they did one of the two major components (right side bar) came in RUSTY. This kit was in the original Triumph labeled box, unopened and shipped in a Bike Bandit box. I called BB right away. They asked me to e-mail photos, then they e-mailed me a return shipping label. I told them they had better inspect the next shipment before sending it!
I packed it up and immediately shipped it out, then waited 4-1/2 weeks before calling them again. They reported that they'd shipped it the day before I called. All told, I was neither thrilled nor terribly unhappy with BB. They weren't responsible, and did respond appropriately.
