Really good deal. Miles are up there but for the price it's as cheap as they come. Christ, a non leaking tank is probably worth about half that.

Why is it worrisome ? Other than that big V4 being a pain in the dick to work on, both seem like easy fixes.

When they were new, out of the box with as soft and pliable as they ever would be carb boots, you needed ratchet straps to get the carb rack back into place. 40 years later... good luck, and you're not getting new boots. (Ok, color me surprised as fuck, they still show as orderable. No idea how soft even new ones would be, but did not expect to see them theoretically available.)

A few years ago I got new boots for my VF1000F and 900RR from Bettencourts. I just heated them up and put a lil bit of Vaseline on the inside and basically had to stand on them to get them in. But it was doable.
