Before the covid hike, they were $3k all day for a minty one. I could see $4500 for one in great shape...but not much more than that.

I've also noticed since COVID, people are less willing to dump nice bikes before winter for cheap. *sniff*

As much as I love 'em, I could see $3000-3500...maybe...if it were the blue/white 2000 model... :D

It's funny though...As much as I say I miss mine, the only reason I sold was to buy a crossplane R1. I think if I were to go 'back' to 'TLR', I would find the noise to be not as sexy as I thought, heavy as hell and just large overall. The one thing I def miss which the R1 doesn't have, is a full, WIDE, deep gas tank. I loved just melting into that saddle and tank!

The gas tank is partly the reason why like like 01 to 03 gsxrs and any year zx7. The wide tanks just fit me so well. I've only ridden a tlr a few times and I remember it being to my liking as well. I'm not crazy about twins but my little gt650 is changing that slowly.

I forgot how big a bubbly sport bikes were in the late 90’s, early 2000’s until I started the R7 project. The 2009-2014 Crossplane R1 is probably one of the most comfortable full on sportbikes I’ve ridden. I recently picked up a 2010 Crossplane and the seating and tank style fit me. When I had the 2015 R1, I couldn’t ride it more than 30 miles on the streets, the seat angle and tank shape were brutal on that bike.

I was surprised at the $2500 price, I thought he'd be asking closer to $3K what with all the recent work.

I bet that R7 has a nice, wide tank! I would imagine the egros are super comfy!

The R7 tank is huge and wide. The ergos are great for track riding, horrible to ride on the road. While the tank is wide, the bike in general has a small feel to it, high pegs, low clip ons, and an oddly low/wide seat.
