And sold. It had the borrani 18in aluminum rear rim. That alone is worth almost half the asking price. In the world of ironheads rims are the most expensive part to replace. New replacements are mostly Chinese junk so buying used is better in the long run.

Funny story....One of my teammates raced one of these when I started racing. I was so fat, I literally couldn't fit between the gas tank and tail! hahahahahahaha

No. The ironheads have really tight clearances out back. So tight that every time I change my tire I almost always have to adjust my spokes so I can kick the hoop over this way or that a 1\4in. New rims are just too wide. Plus anything before 78 I think is still drum.

It's got to be junk if it's still sitting after all this time. I looked into buying it like 6 months ago but it has been sitting out side uncovered with no tank or air box so I assumed the motor was full of water so I passed. If Ducati guys are passing on it and it's so cheap you know it's destined for the dump.

I believe it was a 2000 (yellow) with +/- 7000 miles.

I was kinda pissed at him. I told him I would have cleaned it up & put it on pit stands in the house for a display. Pisser thing is he said he thought about contacting me when he got rid of it. Can you believe that shit???

Yup, that is cool. I bought a ‘67 Gibson acoustic last year and have found myself looking at all kinds of shit lately from around the time I was born (especially vinyl). Probably early onset antiquing.
