Black chrome

I am not a fan of chrome and my bike has two big chrome mufflers. Anyone have experience with that black chrome coating? I want to do just the mufflers, I highly doubt that it will hold up to the temps on the pipes. I am not going to buy aftermarket pipes right now so was hoping this would suffice for a bit. Thoughts?

I bought a black chrome HMF slip-on for my Raptor ATV in 2006 and it has held up amazingly good. If anything, it has faded a bit to a dark grey, but still holds the same shine.

If you don't mind a flat finish, Jet Hot coating is cheap, can handle up to 2100 degrees and is super durable. Only problem I've ever had with it is that it tends to stain if you get crap on it.
