Good to know. Thanks for the heads up.

I recently bought a Sena SMH5-FM, primarily for streaming audio and FM with the occasional quick call.
- Buttons are easy to feel, interface is well thought out, but does take a bit to memorize how it all works. It isn't the easiest to slide off the helmet mount, so I tend to charge it on the helmet.
- Streaming from phone works great. Loud enough through 80mph with ear plugs. Starts to fade off after 90. I believe the newer SMH5's come with the former "speaker upgrade".
- Worked through ~1hr of riding in the rain.
- Battery life is a claimed 7 hour talk time, which a review said seemed plausible. But on a recent ride I believe mine died after ~4hrs of use, streaming from the phone the entire time.
FM reception seems poor compared to my car, despite a review saying it had great FM reception. Maybe my car has above and beyond, or maybe I need to figure out if one of it's wires is the antenna and adjust. I also wish it had one extra button, so that I could cycle through my FM presets backwards. As is, you can only go forward through 10 presets in a loop. I bought it for the FM, as I never really streamed much from a phone. But streaming works so well, and reduces my need to play with buttons, I find I'm suddenly interested in streaming audio services.
Conclusion: Should have bought one a while ago.

I have an iPhone. My wife has an iPhone. They both support Bluetooth.
Why hasn't someone written an app to do this job?

I'm a loser. Mine should ship on Friday. First test will be if it pairs with my existing smh5's.
We'll see.
Magic feature: what they are referring to as "audio multitasking".
We'll have to see how this works.
Currently wifey likes to keep an open channel all the time (understandable).
Sometime I need to listen to directions from the phone. Right now I have to know when to switch (or not, but I can also miss directions). If I get a direction like " turn in 3 miles" I know I have time to switch. If I get a direction like "turn left in 250 ft." I don't have time to switch. If I can hear / talk to wifey and hear directions (and she can hear directions) it is worth significant money to me.
There are some other "interesting, I wanna check" features, but if this works, it was worth it.

Yeah, me too. It got to spend the weekend in MA. Arrived Saturday morning and sat. Supposed to be here Tuesday. Might have a chance to test with wifey this weekend. Depends on weather (for her).
The newest Interphone F5MC units pair to other Bluetooth devices. I use the Interphones during on-street and track day training.
Sena does a good job of updating their facebook page if you Like them. It's not spammy or obnoxious, just informs you about new product updates and firmware.
