Looks like a rat to me, and also there was no YZ 400 in 2002. Yz 400 was 1998-early 2000, YZ 426 from late 2000-2002, YZ 450 from 2003+

ive got a 690 in SM flavor. its looks arent for everyone but the motor is practically bulletproof. lots of power from a 1 lunger. its a whole different bike. twice the power of the DRZSM

Just picked up a '14 drz sm a week ago, I love it. Yea it's not the fastest but it's a good platform for generally anything except high speed chases lol. Even took it out on the dirt and it did fairly well. At times I wish it had more balls but then I realize that what it has is plenty and I'm happy with it. Plus I love passing a cbr1000rr in the corner on a less than 50hp motorcycle... Lol makes me grin. Good luck on getting what you want

Below 60 it is actually kinda quick. Kinda. Given I generally ride slow bikes anyway. But wholey krikey can you carry some corner speed with these things!
And working the front brake really hard is a pretty good time.

depends. when i was shopping i routinely found SMCs in $6-8k range. some over $9k. if they ever come up for a good price then you have to snatch it up. they go quick. i drove to WV to get my SM.
