Boot Question

I'm in the market for some new boots in the 300 to 350 range. I tried on the Dainese Torque boots and liked the fit,but was concerned about protection compared to A-stars or other brands.Has anyone used/crashed in these?Was curious as to what people would recommend. Thanks!

I had a slow (10 MPH) lowside with my A* boots. the peg or spool landed on the top of my foot and broke my big toe. i dont think any footwear would have provented that from happening. my next set will be SIDI's, but I bought my A*'s off a NESR member looking to clear out some gear he didnt need.
