I had not planned to buy another bike but found a deal that I could not pass up. I picked up a 2007 Blue R1 with 3000 miles. It needs a little cleaning but is in mint condition. The one scratch that was on it buffed out.
One of my friends say that I now have book ends having both an R1 and R6 in blue.
Enough talking for today - I going out to put a few hundred miles on it today.
They look good together! Congrats!
ballin outta control!
Looks damn nice side by side though!

What a good looking couple
They look real good together, good buy!
Very nice!
Nice bike!
Too cool for sigs.
After I posted the pictures I took them out for a ride. I had only put 10 miles on the R1 so I didn't have a good feel for what it would do yet. So and frend and I went for a 160 mile ride and I am now sure that I am going to keep the R1. The only down side was on a hot day like today you get roasted nuts. I love the way it handles and extra power over the R6 was nice.
When we got home I jumped on the R6 to show to a potential buyer. Then went for another short ride. Only put 30 miles on the R6 but enjoyed how much cooler it is to ride on. It just does not dump all the heat onto your legs. Wish I could keep both but I don't thank will happen unless I sell my Corvette, or build a bigger garage.
I have an idea, let me take care of your r6 for you, you can ride it whenever you want I swear![]()
That's a nice clean looking R1
Congrats

I would love to ride up at Loudon, but remember that I am the aggressive one and would find the limits. Now that I am a few years older things don't bounce any more they break. On top of that I would need to buy a track bike and my wife does not understand why I have 2 bikes now.
