accident photos sometimes get released for driver education/ scare tactics.... this one's not so bad, but the taco bell one, now that got me thinking
Anyone still have the Taco Bell pictures? All the other forums have since been edited.
If he was doing 120 or even a bit less and hit a tractor trailer with enough force to embedd his helmet, in my opinion. I'm not sure any type of protective gear would have helped. He must have had major internal injuries!! Like his chest exploding and insides exploding on impact.

Well if the truck was moving, say doing 55-65, I'm assuming it was a highway for him to have enough room to do 120, it will take away from the impact.. And I believe that Picture was on Ride2die..

Sick to my stomach...Yeah,sad.We finally gave up alcohol two years ago.I rode the ambulance to the emergency room once for my wife.She escaped it the second time but...well,do not drink&ride.We still occasionally drink in other venues,but it's just not the same anymore.
What SPORT involes drinking alcohol anyways? We now ride coffee shop to coffee shop..Motorsports on motorcycles' is fun when done sober and within limits of ability.Sermon over.....

I went to that site once and got so afraid of riding I didn't even look at my bike for like 1 or 2 hours....after 6 hours of surfing for gore I had to leave work and go home......Scared shitless I tell ya!

Surfed a gore-site while at work.
For an hour or two I thought about never riding again.
End of work day came.
Ultimately didn't get scared.
Made a bad joke on local forum as a result.

I pulled a guy out of the front grill of a Ford F700 Dump Truck.
It looked exactly like a cartoon. He was on a Ninja, and you could literally see the outline of his upper body in the grill, and the indentation in the bumper of the faring.
He was all cut up in little cubes- the grill was one of those plastic ones with the maybe 1" x 1" cubes. He didn't live, I guess luckily for him, since he would have pretty much been carved up all over his body.
Pretty sad.
