You should invest that money in UWTI.

I had a dealer down here try to get us for freight/set up on a demo bike. We laughed at him and noped out.

Re: When buying a new bike

Congrats on the new bike, MV's are truly art in motion.

Without knowing the price you paid for a 15,900 MSRP bike, it is certain that there was more room to bump your trade value on this bike vs a left over 9k gsxr.

My guess is that the dealers of these two models think very differently. When the weather turns someone will get all hot for the gsxr, take on the freight or get it wiped out in exchange for an overpriced, dealer installed pipe and tail kit finance a ton of it and ride off "upside down" for a long time.

The MV dealer is looking at a different buyer, and far fewer of them. If they can get a reasonable profit out of the sale and put a unit on the street, they are more willing to cut their profit on the trade.

Wtf.. I didn't do any research on the f3 cuz I didn't think I had to.. found mvagusta.net forum.. nothing but complaints about reliability. guess there is a known sprag issue with them.. please god let this be false.. hard start issues also that are blamed on battery and in some cases, people bought an expensive aftermarket replacement wire kit for the battery and starter.. 😭

No research on the reliability of a small number production Italian motorcycle?

Did you read the Cycle World comparison of the f3, 899 panigale and gsxr750 in terms of what you can expect on the road?

No Italian will ever be turn key and ride like your gixxer was. On a positive note, your bike has a 2 year warranty
