THIS IS WHY THE COPS STOP US AND HAVE NO TOLERANCE AT TIMES.

Very unfortunate. Even more so that another rider died as well.

Yeah, Kenn posted this up in the Bike Night thread, makes you sick to see. I feel bad for both but particularly the guy that was doing nothing wrong and is dead now.
This is just one more reason why I am very thankful for NESR. Seriously, I wear gear now, I don't squid, and most of the time my rides are group rides, and with the exception of 1 incident in like 3 years, everybody goes home happy and safe.
This morning 2 families are crushed and it did not have to be this way - its just very unfortunate and avoidable.
WOW very unfortunate either way RIP to both Riders
Sad...so many lives changed forever.
That stretch of road is freekin' deadly. There is nothing I like about any of it....
(Scary too...if we had left Chinese just a few minutes earlier some of our crew could have been involved. Fate is a motherfucker...)

"A man who views the world the same at 50 as he did at 20 has wasted 30 years of his life.”
Muhammad Ali.
I can't even watch those things anymore, feels jinxie somehow and I hate to see hurt anyway. RIP to em. And yeah, the cops are fed up with that part. Hence, hassle.
First my condolences goes out to all the families involved. Sportbikes have always had a bad rep in my opinion. I know NESR is the minor exception but look at the majority of sportbike owners. They are mostly punkasses that think they are invicible and do stupid shit like this which endangers everyone on the road.
In the five years I've been riding, every sportbiker I've met on the road that's not on NESR was the t-shirt, shorts, sandals, I'm invincible, pop a wheelie at 100 mph on a crowded highway type. The NESR mentality (wear proper gear, don't stunt/race on public roads) is an extremely small group of people that make up the sportbike community.
I saw this on WBZ this morning.
It made me physically ill to see that this guy's poor judgment has such an effect on so many people.
It was all I could think about on my ride in to work this morning.
Sam
My thoughts and prayers are with the riders and their families!!
so sad that a rider dies and the other got messed up because some shmuck is trying to get a hard on from driving like an ass.
what a shame!
Can somebody copy and paste the article on here, it is blocked at my work. RIP to the rider

Here you go Nicole, didn't new station but more details then the link above.
Sad story and may they both RIP.
"Two motorcyclists were killed in a horrific bike-on-bike crash last night on Route 110 in Methuen, police said.
Matthew Phillips, 35, of Wilmington, was pronounced dead at the scene after police say his westbound 1989 Suzuki motorcycle crossed into the opposite lane and collided with a red Honda Civic and two motorcycles traveling behind it.
Phillips also narrowly missed colliding with a third motorcycle in the 9:42 p.m. crash, police said. Witnesses told police Phillips was driving erractically, passing other vehicles and traveling at a high rate of speed before crashing near 68 Lowell Boulevard, which is also Rte. 110.
One of the motorcyclists sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene, police said.
The third motorcyclist was taken to Saints Medical Center in Lowell, where he was pronounced dead, police said. His identity was not immediately released.
The accident is under investigation."
So sad - makes me glad I have moved away from street riding for the time being. Too many of these stories lately.
Thanks! That sucks, I ride 110 almost every day since I go to school in Lowell. It is a fun road but people definitely get out of hand on it![]()

Heres a condom. I figured since youre acting like a dick, you should dress like one too.
No offense to anyone who has ever ridden on that road before (including yours truly), but it sounds like it really wasn't the road's fault at all.
Support the Troops! (Except for Mondo, that guy's a dick)
-----------------------------------------------------
The road isnt to blame but its definitely a rough road, lots of blind corners, fairly quick speeds and dump trucks turning off and entering around some of those turns make it a road that is infamous for accidents... both cars and bikes. Definitely suck for all involved and as for Steve and Bike night... they have nothing to do with this and shouldnt be getting an earful of anything. RIP all involved.
