I'll admit, I like the way it looks, but doesn't also serve a legitimate purpose in blocking sunlight, which breaks down the fluid? Isn't that why some bike's reservoirs aren't clear plastic? I don't know this to be fact, just assumed... Can anyone confirm?

The one posted in the ebay link will be too wide for a master cylinder, it says it is 3" wide.
If you find a pair, I will split the cost with you for one of them!!

It does sound a bit wide. Though on the new Bonneville the MC reservoir is shorter and wider than most I've seen. I'll have to take a peek.

That is what I was told. That and it can suck up fluid that spills.
