What should I expect to pay for a used but relatively dent-free fuel tank for a gen 2 SV? Mine has a nasty dent, want to see if its cheaper to fix or replace. Thanks!

Here's one with a BIN of $189 on eBay; it's dented in the same place yours is but seemingly not as badly:

There are a few others on eBay as well, but either the deals aren't as good or they're as damaged as the tank you've already got.

price of a new tank is $800, I would expect an undamaged used tank to go for $400+

Couple hundred at least.

How bad is it? Sheppo took a pretty gnarly dent outta mine & did a pretty good job.

Probably wouldn't be too hard to slide-hammer out, grind smooth and use some body filler to finish.

Don't buy a new one just yet. See how much it'd cost to get it taken out & re-painted.
