Suggestions on favorite parts sites besides Bikebandit that has good prices and is honest/reliable? The reason is that at BB, a carb parts assembly (#16030) goes for $62...same parts go for $50 on this dillon-brothers site. Both sites carry OEM parts, which is my preference. BB has been great in the past, but $12 difference? I need to order 3 sets of these carb parts, and the diff adds up to $36...and $$ is a bit tight around here...where do you guys shop online?
BB site...click on "carb parts" window...#16030
1997 Kawasaki Motorcycle Parts for NINJA ZX-9R(ZX900B4)US, Fuel & Air - CARBURETOR PARTS
Dillon Brothers Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, ATV & Motorcycle parts, Apparel and Accessories.
I've found ronayers.com to be cheaper than BB on a few OEM parts
I tend to go with BikeBandit, but lately they have been 2+ weeks and screwed up my order two out of the last three times.
I just call my local dealer now (cycledesignonline.com). Takes the same amount of time, prices are nearly the same when you factor in not having to pay shipping and I have a chance to help out a TTD/NESR supporter.

I've noticed that once you add shipping to the bb prices, its almost exactly the same as going to the dealer. Then again, you don't have to burn gas or deal with the parts counter asshats. But you do have to wait for the parts to ship to you. So really its a wash either way. I usually don't have time to get to a dealer before they close during the week and weekends are usually filled with other things that I need to catch up on after the week so getting things shipped to me is generally much easier.
Thanks, Clayton for the info re: cycledesignonline.com. Havent heard of them before, but since it's NESR connected, I'll try going with them in the future. As for BB, well, I've had nothing but good experiences with 'em. Used them a bunch of times last summer, and they came thru everytime, all parts were correct. I ordered my parts this last sunday...site says shipping ground is 3-5 business days. We'll see about that! I hope so. Mark has been helping me out on this ongoing carb issue I have...in a good way, Mark scares me. He get in there, fiddles and pokes and prods...and viola! He nails it. (this process took about a minute or two) "It's your #3". Christ, it's like he's telepathic! So off come the carbs...pop off the screw to the #3 needle valve and seat, and lo and behold....the fuggin O ring is all twisted and out of it's groove. #3 seat hadn't been open before, so the O ring was fucked up at the FACTORY! No wonder the bike's had performance probs for YEARS. Ryan had helped me last summer with carb issues too and #3 float cover was opened up to check the float, but the seat was left closed cuz it appeared to be a float issue. We worked on #1 too...to blow out the idle jet, etc. Anywaaaayyy.....BB has my parts shipped for the other sets to keep 'em all current, and now comes the waiting. Hope its sooner, cuz it aint gonna get any warmer!
