So took a long lunch and got to run some errands and even get in a
blitz through the Blue Hills today. It was really nice out !

Gotta say that it being first week of December and to be still riding is
pretty amazing. Aside from some shit rain days I've been riding
pretty consistently!

I dunno about you guys but the roads were all icy, sanded/salted when I left this morning. I wouldn't want to ride on that!

there was black ice everywhere when i left this morning. you could have ice skated on my road.

The roads I was on this morning were dry......no sand or salt yet either.

I think this weekend might change that though

This weekend I was out biking with my kids over near the beach
in South Boston. My younger son wouldn't wear socks so I said fine, your call...so he puts on Crocs!

Then he goes and gets his feet wet in the ocean, then complains about being cold. We went for an extra long ride just for that !

There was a guy swimming ! Not that it was super warm or anything, just guess that the city makes people crazier around here!

I rode to work today and it was beautiful. I wore too many layers though, I got toasty at slow speeds.

Tomorrow is looking like it'll be the same weather. Here's hoping for a couple more weeks of riding before my driveway becomes perma-iced.

Too bad I only had time to ride to work this evening.

What was more interesting was Sunday. I rode the FZ1 to the store for some house supplies.....had no idea it was supposed to snow...

just winterized my bike about an hour ago after riding w/ Tim for a bit. it pains me to throw in the towel so early, but i've got a court date tomorrow and then i'll be gone for a week or so interviewing in CA, so by the time i get back it'll be the end of mid-Dec...

+1, I had my CAR sideways around a corner due to the sand on my road
