    New to me CB-1

    I picked up my new bike this past weekend!!

    A little different style then the Ducatis of my past, but I love this little 400. This is the same bike that ScottieDucati had back in the day, and I *really* lucked out with being able to get it from the previous owner.

    I love the sound of gear driven cams at 13,000 RPM

    PS - shop rag is from when I proceeded to spill the oil from the filter all over the headers. doh!

    Technically speaking, I never owned that bike... a pre-menopausal French woman did....

    ...it was fun to flog now and again though

    Yes yes yes! One of my fave all time 4 stroke small bikes along with the bandit. Man I remember seeing them somewhat frequently in the streets of Columbus, OH late 90's when I was riding a VF500 and would ride with them, great stuff..... do you mind The Question?

    Tully, once we get the rest of the pieces in place, you should really come down for the V4 Honda engine assembly.... muah-ha-ha....

    Ohhhh.... I've been close enough for that man, didn't have to split cases but somehow my VF 500 was off-timed.... like a tooth off when I bought it and we took a gamble 'cos I got it cheap and we were able to set it straight without going all the way there...... that "we" in this instance being my friend Lajos, a mechanical genius. I supplied the shop rags and beer and words of encouragement.
