i didn't see the post on for this so im starting this one.
i'd like to thank everyone for the help with relocating my rear brake mount and Mike for such a great ride except the rain part. i got to put the bike away just in time before it started pouring again. it didn't rain in Lowell, ma at all.
Pete, sorry for the quick left turn to rt3. i didn't see it til last minute but im glad you caught up and we get to do cloverleaf.

"fuckit!"
It's a mazing how handy zip ties can be, NHBusa!
If I didn't know any better...In the second pic it looks like I'm looking at Oreo's butt!

I hope I was! I mean he has a nice bike, butt...![]()
i must have missed tighten those two bolts down. good thing it came off when we came to stop. i heard a loud banging noise behind but didn't think of anything. it might be ugly at high speed. gotta locktight everything down from here on.
"fuckit!"
Kham,
We always try and find a bit of rain on each ride just to aggravate Kenn by getting his bike dirty.
I hope you enjoyed the sight seeing tour, and I think it was appropriate that you had no rear brake to go with your no registration. With that combination, screwing around on the cloverleaf was a good move.Good ride yesterday. Started off at the meeting spot with 11 bikes plus a scooter. We left the meeting spot with 11 bikes.
Worked our way through some back roads to New Boston where we hit 13 north along the river at a pretty good pace until we met up with the red Hyundai. Created a little gap, opened it up again and then met red Hyundai again. This is where Kham's rear brakes decided to call it a day. After a quick zip tie and front brake check we were back on the road.
Over to 77 east for a little throttle opening up to Jewett Road into Hopkinton. Then north on 103 over to 127 south across the dam where that 90 degree right will wake you up every time. Took 202 into Henniker and then 114 south over to 149 through Deering. A quick stop in Hillsborough for lunch. After that first leg it is always fun to hear someone unfamiliar with the area ask "where the hell are we".
A quick refuel and then route 9 west over to 123 where we were able to open things up and enjoy the sweepers and smooth pavement. In Hancock we headed south on 137 and were going along pretty well until the raindrops started. The group wisely showed a fair amount of due respect for that road when the rain got heavier. The group shot back on 101 east as the rain was on and off for the last half hour of the ride.
i learn that bunch of girly can ride good and very helpful.
man we gotta do that again soon but without the ziptie part.
"fuckit!"
Is the scooter guy on NESR?
It was another outstanding ride lead by Mike! Thank you Mike!
So who thinks the Stinger is clean now? I got home, got a bucket and car wash soap, hosed the bike, soaped the bike, it's clean!
Kham, since your rear brake broke you were able to keep up with me! What do you do ride the brake all day?![]()
Kenn: never without a camera.
Ha, no worries guy. I knew where I was, I just forgot about that ramp to 3. Glad I caught back up to ya on the highway, Kham's Speedway was fun.
NOW SERIOUSLY! FUCKING HANG OFF THE BIKE! YOU'RE MAKING ME NERVOUS!
One should not be THAT far leaned over and still perfectly in line with the bike.It was almost to the point where you were pushing the bike down underneath you. Work on that upper body shift, it'll take a lot of pressure of that front wheel.
Good ride, everyone. Glad I went
Now if only I can get Kenn to stop oogling my ass!

but i didn't scrape anything yet so im still good, i think, as long as im on the gas until im up again. on the south side to 495s, i scraped a peg once last year... startle me. on that left hander to connector, i normally hang off there to feel comfortable over 90. i thought you were gonna hang back so i didn't show off.
dont worry ima pro.![]()
"fuckit!"
Kham... Lets cut through the BS, okay?
The whole rest of the ride you rode great. We were on roads you didn't know so you didn't ride over your head, you even hung off the bike a little and used some body movement.... but when we got to the cloverleaf, I hung back on those right handers for a reason. Because I've seen more than my fair share of people crash directly in front of me, many of whom are members here on NESR and are experienced racers & very talented riders; Chris CEO, Dan Squirrel, Mark Dages, Clayton The Iglu to name just a few, and I didn't wanna add another name to that list.
If you were hanging off even just a little bit, I would have had no issues with staying right on your rear tire, but the way you were seated on the bike, almost pushing it down underneath you, you were ON the edge of traction. One little bump, added steering input, weight shift or whatever and it's very possible that front tire could have wash right out with zero warning due to the way you were weighting the bars to keep it in the turn. You CAN CRASH w/o scraping anything first. You also need to hang off at ANY speed when taking corners the way we took those.
It looked to me as if you're getting way too comfortable and complacent on those turns. Take my friendly advice and hang off a little. If you refuse and you keep riding like that, I'm gonna have an awfully hard time keeping myself from saying "I told ya so" if you go down.
Site note: This right here is a prime example of why so many people on here have no sympathy for you... we try to give you friendly advice to HELP you out and you completely blow us off as if you know more than we do. This is now the third time I've warned you about your body positioning. Either listen to what I'm saying and use it for your own benefit, or don't. If you choose not to, just say "thanks" and move on.

well it's all just a misunderstanding if "so many people on here have no sympathy for you... ". i dont mean to act like know it all. i heard yall and evaluate the inputs. isn't that how it's done? truth is im just too lazy to hang off sometime. it takes some efforts. besides it looks cooler laying on the side while not on the ground.i am aware of the fine line.
