I just got a letter from my Evil Insurance Company letting me know they're sending me a nice reimbursement for over-charging my motorcycle premiums plus a sizable penalty for ripping me off.

- Amica Mutual Insurance Company ("Amica")
- Arbella Mutual Insurance Company ("Arbella")
- Commerce Insurance Company ("Commerce")
- Electric Insurance Company ("Electric")
- Encompass Insurance Company of Massachusetts ("Encompass" aka Allstate)
- Hanover Insurance Group ("Hanover")
- Liberty Mutual Insurance Company ("Liberty Mutual")
- Metropolitan Property & Casualty Insurance Company ("Met P&C")
- NGM Insurance Company ("NGM" aka "Main Street America")
- Norfolk & Dedham ("N&D")
- OneBeacon Insurance Group ("OneBeacon" aka Mass. Homeland)
- Pilgrim Insurance Company ("Pilgrim")
- Plymouth Rock Assurance Corporation ("Plymouth Rock")

Great news but... They will adjust their rates so as to get their money back over the long haul. Oh your going to pay don't worry.
I take it you have commerce dan?
Everyone will pay more, but at least I got some back. There's no way I'm going to feel bad about that check. And at least there's someone to advocate for the little guys when they get caught blatantly ripping us off.
That's right. You too, or did calling them Evil give it away?

Yep, $132 coming back to me from Plymouth Rock.

Got a letter from Commerce yesterday. A check for $1311.00 is on it's way to me along with a 1099 because of the amount. What in the hell is up with that? This is a refund, not "income". It's a returned fee due to over payment.![]()

I haven't lived in Massachusetts for 7-8 years and a $58 check just showed up in the mail. I never entered any information in the site since my policy information from that period is long since gone.
