When I was buying a helmet a few months ago, I looked at that, I ended up with the TZ-R Halex in red. Best price I can remember finding them for was $350 something at www.kneedraggers.com

I ended up buying almost all my gear from them, besides the helmet, and I was very pleased with the service.

If you want a safe helmet for less money, check out http://www.vegahelmet.com/ . Their Mach 1 helmet is Snell M-2000 approved and will be M-2005 approved at the beginning of October. I believe they are in the $100 range and there are a number of different distributors in the area.
