Lately, I prefer pop corn chicken to chicken strips...either of them are damn tastey though
OK fun quiz
Why do tires wear more on left side ?
Glen Beck is John the Baptist
Well, left hand curves are less scary than right handers. Right handers over cooked will send you into oncoming traffic. Left hand turns are more confident, although guard rails, signs, trees etc... arn't that appealing either.

Note you can also usually turn to the right better than left
Glen Beck is John the Baptist
Because Loudon is counter clockwise.
Getting back on topic, I had no chicken strips with only 4 months of riding under my belt.... and I was by no means a proficient rider. I'll look at the tires of a rider I haven't ridden with to get an idea of where they're at, but I don't put a whole lot of importance on them because sometimes the strips lie.

what is a chicken strip???? and how can i start a new thread?
Chicken strips are fun to look at (and get rid of), but ultimately they're meaningless. Example: my V-Strom 650 has no chicken strips because the tire has a relatively flat profile and it's easy to lean the bike far enough to eliminate the chicken strips. My Triumph Bonneville cafe racer has a 150 rear tire on a relatively narrow rim, so the tire's tread profile is very rounded and wraps far around to the side of the tire. It wouldn't be possible to get rid of the chicken strips on that bike because it would drag hard parts before the edge of the tread got scrubbed.

ahhhhhh i seee thank you for the knowledge haha
I have 1/8" on mine, but I don't think the location of the pegs would let me scrub that. I had the bike leaned so far over yesterday that the pegs were scraping and they're still there![]()

I got a solid half inch on me new tires not really a peg issue I'm just a poosay.
Well, until I hit the track I never really went fast enough to scrub the tires all the way... now I get questions about what is wrong w/ my tires, strips on the street are ok from what I have gathered. Or maybe, I just suck that bad
Left turns (from a stop) are generally about three times as long as right turns. The left side wears out more.
I had very small chicken strips on my first bike. This did not indicate that I was a good rider. I was leaning the wrong away and scraping the pegs even on slower turns.
