100 miles already?!? I think I have about 50, LOL.

How pathetic is it to have an avatar of a bike with a huge snowbank behind it? That was just this past Saturday!

hmmm....how to convert a rice rocket into a pasta rocket....now, if I threw a box of rice a roni into the air clearer of my Strada would it be a rice rocket?

(yeah...I know...nothing I can do to that would turn it into a rocket of any flavor... )

I did about 45 miles yesterday - Waterbury/Williston loop with a side trip off River Road to get some hills. Tail wind coming out, felt great, decided to go in the hills. Then we turned around to head back - straight into the wind - I went from hero to zero in about 4 miles. The last 5 miles I was in survival mode, hands in the hoods, staring down at the front tire and just pedaling.

Still at 0 miles for the motorcycle - Mud season... I'm going to try to sneak out early tomorrow while it's still frozen and leave it at a friends house.

My schedule is pretty rough for about another week, then maybe I can start making some of the bike nights. Tomorrow is pretty likely out, unfortunately.

I'd be going nuts if I were you guys who haven't gotten the bikes out yet... I've already put 800 miles on the new R1 this season (granted the majority of those miles were on my spring break trip down south)... but still, I'd be ripping my hair out right now if I knew I couldn't just go riding tomorrow weather depending...
