Ok. Now for an answer. If you remove thew two big allen head bolts from the rearset bracket, you will see a bunch of holes behind the bracket, drilled into the frame. These are alternative mounting points. This gives you your adjustment.

Well that's the same on every bike made since the dawn of time.Originally Posted by senecak19
Kinda sorta almost. There is a plate with 3 drilled / tapped holes. This plate is bolted to the frame. The rearset is bolted to the plate. The 3 different holes are the only 3 adjustments you have on the OEM rearsets. Not too adjustable. The pegs come stock in the higher forward position. From stock you could move them down about half an inch (roughly) or back the same amount. If you move the pegs back, use the longer shift rod that comes with the bike. If the pegs are back and you move them forward...shorter shift rod.

Gear shift levers are either directly attached to the motor via a spline shaft which is an adjustable pivot, or directly attached to the footpeg mount and attached to the motor via a shift rod, again an adjustible pivot.
