Why cause there is only about 10 weeks left to get shit done which means like 9 weekends to get work done with about 5of which you will actually have time to do anything so 3 of them might actually be productive......so what that leave 9 days or so to get your shit ready......lol

If I could only get my new triples I could have my bike finished except for dyno tuning in under a day. Ive never gone this deep into the year with a bike not finished.

Well...after some spec checking, side to side play on the connecting rod is just at tolerance. Looks like she's getting a new crank and bearings as well. Gonna go with the hot rods. Anyone want to buy a kidney?

I do have a spare crank well within the tolerances, but if I'm going to split the cases, may as well put the good stuff in there. Thoughts?

Thanks Adam, the fact is that I'm going new on all parts in there that need to be replaced...gonna be a pretty penny, but now I'll know exactly what I'm dealing with and that everything is in new condition. Should last me a bit as well. For the time being I'm going hot rods cam and bearings, oem gaskets and seals, oem waterpump impellor, bearing, and seals, new wiseco 12.5:1 piston (what I ran last season), reusing the boyesen impeller and water pump cover, and reusing the hot cams stage 2 cam I ran last season as well.

I'm undecided on valves at the moment, if I want to do them or not. As far as I know, I ran stock valves last season. Sorting out the head will be an April project.

I've been putting off ordering new front brake rotors. Pulled the trigger this morning to find out there's a 3-4 week backorder from Germany. Glad I didn't wait too much longer as I'm expecting that's an optimistic estimate.

Miles has em at the track for $50, you still need em for LRRS. I would call and have em hold one for you or just have em ship it to you to be safe.
