Recommends earplugs at high speeds due to the decibel level.
Hell, I reccomend earplugs beacuse of the loud friggin exhausts!![]()

Last season I only rode twice without earplugs and it sucked (short trips). I don't know how people can do it.
Between the wind noise and the SV's roar I can't see my hearing lasting too long, especially with the amount of highway miles I did.
I figured I might try earplugs this year, but does it affect you guys at all? Both street and track? Street I dont think itd bother me, but does it ever bother you at the track? Between hearing your revs or if bikes are trying to poke around the outside of you?
i cant anyone else on the track over MY bike

Dude, keep the cheaper helmet. Once your hearing is completely gone, you won't have to listen to her shit anymore!!!!![]()
Jeez...I might start riding with hearing aids for that purpose alone!!!! Plus, I've either already lost some of my hearing or the new pipe toned itself down a bit as it was brand-spanky last time we rode.
...and remember, a helmet isn't noisy. its the environment that you put it in that makes it noisy.....
FUKIN BRILLIANT....
If a helmet is traveling at 114 kph and there's no one there to hear it is it still a noisy environment????

ugh, video from same site on target fixation - not good.
and yes, started wearing ear plugs last year and naked without them now.
i dont wear them on the street....the noise hasn't really bothered me. but on the track....i tried wearing them once and never looked back. i can't go on a track without them at all, it drives me nuts and i can't concentrate.
for anybody that doesn't wear them on the track, it seriously must be worth almost a second off your lap time once you get used to wearing them.
