I got a custom mount for my Garmin GPS on my bike. I made it myself, as I would any other bits & bobs I might need.



Why don't you run over to Twisted Throttle and see if they need anything made?

Dog bone and link plates for my Aprilia. Me and my buddy came up with the design, then he machined them. Lets me get an extra 10-15mm of overall shock length, which the bike likes.

Thanks. I've got no CNC equipment (yet) to play with, but it's coming soon. For me it's truly a hobby at home now because I made my living doing it (machining) for over 30 years.

I suppose you could say I have a bunch of custom parts on my bike, although they're not exactly "high grade" CNC'ed parts. Most of them are sheet aluminum bent in a box and pan brake and riveted or bolted together. I've got parts holding my headlight, my cluster and my ignition relocation.

The other one is the stock triple that I cut the ignition loop off of, and sanded down.













My next venture will be a tail swap with a custom undertail.

here's a couple things I've made

Custom: Headlight assembly - hid projector retrofit with halo running lights and led turn signals
taillight assembly - somewhere in the vicinity of 150 led's soldered to a custom circuit board. driven by a series of voltage buck modules backed up with capacitors all soldered to a second custom circuit board
gauges - added a capacitor to provide some undervoltage protection during cold starts so my settings aren't lost if the starter motor temporarily stalls (common issue with 1st gen mille's)
exhaust - hand built (not by me) using individual bends for rear header and mid pipes. Collector and cans are reused from aftermarket akra 2-2 system
rearsets - brackets designed by me and fabbed by firstcutcnc. pegs and heal guards are acculign parts, bolts were standard parts modified by Rada to my specs

bolt ons: rear suspension - futura sssa and related components, mille shock, futura linkages
front suspension - '08 tuono forks with radial brembos

I made a cardboard mock up of a GPS mount I wanted for my V-strom, took it to a local fabrication shop and they made me one out of aluminum, I have also had them lengthen the shifter on my SV650 and make a 2 into 1 exhaust for my V-strom
