Custom turn signals

Is there a minimum size that turn signals have to be??

I think it depends on what the DOT says in your state. But if you can find a shop that's a bit lax, you should be able to get it inspected none the less. I've found that shops that aren't brand specific (i.e. NOT dealerships) seem to be more lenient with inspections...

there prolly isn't a minimum dimension of the bulb/lense itself, rather a minimum candlepower/lumens or some measurement of light output.

I don't think there is a minimum in MA. but there are standards.
like the left and right signals have to be atleast 14 in. appart, and I am not possitive but there might be come color restrictions like no smoke lenses.
but as said before, find a local small shop and you should be okay.

I think it has more to do with general visibility. Where ya put 'em, how hard they are to see, etc...

Does anybody know in NH if you have to use amber for the turn signals? I am trying to find a way to flush mount the rear turn signals on my '90 CBR, and I haven't been able to find any kits for it out there. So I am trying to figure out the best way to go about it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I don't beleive so, trucks & trailers rarely have amber turn signals

You can get about any color lamp under the sun for markers now. Clear lens with amber lamps and you should be good to go.

my front turn signals are clear lenses with the amber bulbe so I am sure you can find a tailpiece on that idea
