Hey Mike if the RC is lonely I'll be glad to keep it company for the few weeks we have left in the season![]()
The LAST place you should buy a D675 from is Greatbay. The mechanics that work there do not know their ass from their elbow. Not only has it been my experience that they have zero clue what they are doing, two of my friends had work done there and will never go back. Customer service pretty much sucks as well.
Personally, I like the guys at Performance Cycles in Shrewsbury. Mechanics are certified and one of the Triumph guys that works there has been wrenching Triumphs for 20+ years.
If I didn't have as many issues as I had with the bike, I'd say the same thing Hoss and others have said; the bike is great. Size, weight and track performance is nice, when it's working.

Wow Nanc, sorry to hear you had such problems with the bike. Was the coolant issue just the cheap plastic elbows that Triumph used? What were the transmission issues, if you don't mind? How many miles did you have on it? While I've been lucky with mine, it's always good to knowIf I didn't have as many issues as I had with the bike, I'd say the same thing Hoss and others have said; the bike is great. What are you replacing it with?
Giggity giggity goooooo
That is all for now.... pics later in the week
sweet!
Yep '07 scorched yellow with gel seat, heli bars, rear seat cowl, two bros exhaust, aero screen, re-mapped ecu for the exhaust, and fender eliminator. Can't wait to pick it up.
congrats...when are you picking it up?
Looks like we are going to need to have a triump ride with all the 675s and speedys here.
2006 Triumph Speed Triple - Street
2003 R6 - Track
2000 SV650 - Street/Track
That's right, back to a 2 cylinder, 3 cylinder, and a 4 cylinder.
nice you bought the one 2nd wind built then..
Congrats!
Yea I did.... I figured that just about everything on it, I would have wanted anyway so I might as well... the only thing I'm going to add immediately that it doesn't currently have is frame and swingarm sliders.
Went up to the dealership today to finalize the sale and sign all the papers... picking it up tomorrow. Here's a couple pics from this afternoon.

Nice, congrats.
Wht time you picking it up? I'm just a few miles down the road.
I'll be there around 4pm.... wish I knew some backroads to get back home(down 495) from there but seeing as how it's supposed to be rain showers today maybe I'll just chug it out on the highway
I was thinking about the black, but with the way black shows blemishes in the paint so easily, and the scorched yellow is DAMN sexy, and gets more so the more you look at it. I just wish it would friggin stop raining for the ride home
Brought mine home in the pouring rain as well. It's British, it's used to the rain![]()
damn right doggie!
Now you NEED to change your sig![]()
