    Two bike movies

Recently I watched 2 great (or terrible) motorcycle movies. These are B movies for sure, but have some classic motorcyle scenes or themes.

The first one was Viva Kneivel. WOW, was the acting bad in this. THere are some great chase scenes and Evel appears to have done a lot of the riding himself, which was fun to watch. Leslie nielsen is so bad he's great!

The second was Rockers! If you like Reggae, that's reason enough to watch this. It's a who's who of great recording artists. The whole movie is essentially about a motorcycle. Some of the scenes are really funny. Like when Rasta tries to get money to buy the bike from his wife. I guess things are the same all over the world. Warning, if you don't like redistribution, this movie ain't for you!

Anyway, this was some funny stuff. Thought I'd share.

How can you mention these and not 'Cool as Ice' and 'Biker Boys'?

The sad part of that movie is they make the car keep up with the bikes, there is no way in hell that is true at all.

I love Rockers. To get the true experience you gotta see it on a big screen in the right urban neighborhood.

    Agreed.

I'm interested more in movies that are actually about bikes. Not action movies with cheesy scenes that are computer generated and impossible to actually do.

The last 20 minutes of viva kneivel has some great chase sequences that were mostly ridden by the man himself on real XR750s! Just watching him turn off highway 1 at 70mph into the desert is worth sitting through the terrible script.

I forget the name...I think it was, 'a long way home' or something like that. Ewan McGregger did a couple long documented rides. One through africa i think. Decent movies....if you're kinda bored.

I think it was "The Long Way 'Round" and then "The Long Way Down". My favorite motorcycle movies of all time are "On Any Sunday" (sorry, no Cameron Diaz or Al Pacino in that one) and "Easy Rider". . .

. . . but I can never tear myself away from Torque. Those catfight-on-a-motorcycle scenes are priceless!!

Dude! I had the chance to be IN Brown Bunnie. Our Very own Tony is in it. The dude was camped right next to me during filming. As bad as that movie is, I kinda like it!

    Re: Two bike movies

Mike Martire, Jeff Wood, Eric Wood, Scott Greenwood? I think are all credited in the Brown Bunny. They're on IMDB.com, thats just awesome.
Plus loudons right at the beginning so you can just watch that part, fast forward to the blowjob scene and call it a day. Great flick if you do that.
