I just like to Rescue Hawks. Make friends with Gino. He is closer to you and has been known to help in the past.

I just made a deal for a pretty much whole bike for $1000. It needs tires and another $300-500 in parts... I'd sell it to you for what it takes me to get it legal and roadworthy/reliable. Around $1500-$1600 I think (depending on tires).

If you don't want it I will craigslist it for $2500 or part it and get $2000 and keep some spares for the racebike.
