They were shut off by all their distributors. One that we know of is in the hole with them for 500K worth of Michelin tires. OUCH.

When you sell tires so cheap that you can't pay the bills, time to get a new business plan.

Last time around Chaparral beat their price by 10 per tire

Also Chaparral has gone back to nice full sized catalogs with the better pricing

I used to order from them all the time. The only problem I had is one time a front tire that I ordered came with a nice 12" long slice down the center of the tread. It was probably slashed when they were cutting open a new unit. I called them about it and they overnighted me a new tire and sent me the postage to mail the defective one back. I've always been impressed with their service.

Too bad they screwed up their finances!
