Yeah we had that discussion this morning... or rather i begged her to let me paint the tank to match. She has the Aluminum tank enroute i believe and i would LOOOVE to introduce the bare aluminum to the paint Scheme... Dana LOved the surprise of a pearl top coat over the yellow.. and will probably faint when she sees it in the sun later! It is GORGEOUS!! one of my favorite paint schemes to date!!

Picked up my skins this morning and I'll be test fitting this weekend. I'm not even gonna say another word about how awesome this came out. I'm just gonna roll the 848 outside and take pics and post them.

I can't even begin to tell you how awesome this finish is. I'm waiting for a few bolts to come in via FedEx tomorrow and then hopefully I'll have new photos of everything assembled before I leave for the left coast Sunday.

Well this is about all that I'll get done till I get back from Redmond. Safety wiring came out pretty good and the paint looks amazing.

I was thinking the same thing about the frame, as well as the grips and levers. I think black grips/levers will bring it away from the Ronald McDonald theme and into its glory

Looks good so far. Looking forward to completed pics. Re: that stand - I first saw that type a few years ago. As awesome as they seem, I just can't justify to myself spending that kind of scratch on them.

what you cant really see from the pics is that the yellow has a GORGEOUS pearl in it and it has a flourescent effect to its brightness.

One of the guys I pitted with had one for his S1000RR at Daytona. Thing was sick. No jockeying your bike around in the garage anymore. Pull into the pit, put the stand on, and then just roll the bike around!
