For the third time, Madstad + CalSci or Givi screen.

This.

The recurve on the stock windshield creates eddies that can bounce you around. Some people just cut the stocker down.

I had the CalSci XL, L, and shorty and liked the short one the best. With the Madstad bracket you could move it to your liking.

did some dirt after work...bike would do it, but not with a smile...definitely bottomed the rear suspension pretty hard leaning back and getting on the gas over hardpack/washboard stuff.



Seems like something expensive is going to break (today just a turn signal), and it'll be a PITA to pickup after a fall.

Storm troopers is great if you like to get yelled at for disagreeing with anything one guy who runs it says. AND NO SWEARING! FUCK!

Start first with a DL1K seat. Cheapest upgrade. Makes a world of difference.

The extra funny thing is about 3 months before Stromtrooper put in what you would call a
controversial topics section where had he been an honest monitor he could have simply moved that

DL...Nope. Fzr wouldn't even be seen around these parts. So the DL gets me here, but keeps me from going too far with it.

Handguards definitely help with chilly night rides. Heat the grips for perfection. No thick gloves necessary.

Still waiting on calsci website to go up... Windscreen is top of the list...Then beadrider seat. Wanting to wake up and ride 500 miles for lunch. Also gonna cut pea trap exhaust and add LED lights, along with phone charger and ram mount with x-grip

Madstad also makes a windshield. Don't know what's up with CalSci. The guy who runs it is fascinating: along with being a high-mileage rider (who owned a DL650 for several years) he's a PhD focused on Aerodynamic problems. You'll learn more about windshield aerodynamics in 10 minutes on the phone with him then anywhere else.
