my veiw is this.... even a newbie can get on any bike they want.. if you can hold it up, you can ride it.. its when some jackass that cant ride well gets on something and twists the throttle beyond his skill level that problems occur and people get hurt.

lol i hate people sometimes.
I started on that exact bike, it all comes down to self control.
only had 96hp at the rear wheel.
Topped out at 156mph rev limiter in 6th GPS speed (downhill on a closed road of course)

Well, Doc could get something like my Concours14 with around 150 or 160 HP. Problem is (not REALLY a problem), the damn thing weighs in at a slim, trim and svelte 680 lbs. Of course, with me on it, it's 885lbs. I figure the 998 is around 360 or 380?
