Ahh reminds me of my very first bike, aka my last bike. I had it delivered, and later that same day when I was taking it out for my first ride ever I tipped it trying to turn around in my driveway.
Worst thing about me tipping a bike is that I only weigh 130lb so lifting my 400lb Bike was well impossible![]()
That sucks dude! At least it was in your driveway, I heard some d-bag dropped his bike in the middle of a group ride last week![]()
If it makes you feel any better I only made it about 35 miles before I dropped my first bike way back when.
Get it out of your system early, maybe it helps your luck. It took me about 40,000 miles to do it again.
I have dropped both of the bikes I have owned. First one I broke the clutch lever, the second just a little bit scratched up...its embarassing but at least i know I can pick up a cbr600 off the ground.
Getting back into the game! Looking for my next bike!
to date, i've gotten all my bike dropping done on my first bike, the massive 500+lb katana 750, but i did drop my ex's bike once, lol.
i don't think she knows about it, though, and i think she'd already dropped it by then...
hurray, strikethrough!
...adventure timeadventure time...adventure time...adventure time
I've never dropped my 'street' bikesBut I HAVE laughed my ass off as some friends dropped their bikes next to me in a really funny fashion such as plowing over a cone that we were slaloming through and getting it lodged in his front wheel and dumping it
that one was great

My stupidity caused this a couple weeks ago, my baby has been broken in now. A strap let go when I was loading her in the back of the truck.
I look at it this way, I can now beat the shit out of her and not even feel bad about it.

In with new

I dropped my old FZR twice, once in the driveway and once in a parking lot at a picnic area, full of people outside enjoying lunch who no doubt had a blast laughing at me.
I also remember poor Josh going about 3 MPH on his old TL in his mother's driveway. Dude pulled in and just "ploop", over it went.
Nothing hurt but the pride, haha.
what are the details of how it happened?
after perusing ebay for nearly 2 years, I finally found an oem-painted yellow upper fairing to replace the trashed one on my FZR from seeing the grass in turn 12a...
...within 10 minutes of being mounted, it found the pavement after taking the bike off of a rear stand
the same happened with my first streetbike...I'm 95% sure that I'm doomed to have an imperfect bike forever
lol... same thing happend to me after only having my bike for like a week.. was at the car wash and wanted to move my bike... let too much weight get to the other side and down she went... its like I saw it happen in slow motion and I was like "No.. no.. no..aww shi-BAM!!"
You never realize how a falling CBR 600 can make you feel as weak as a 6 year old girl until you try and stop it from tipping over...
luckily nothing major broke.. just cracked my side mirror and some scratches that were already there from before... got off lucky and swore I'll always keep the bike tilted toward me whenever I move it.
it happens.. live and learn...

Story of my life...When I bought my brand new 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250 home from the dealer I dropped it that day in the driveway. I continued to drop it the first three days I owned it, including as I was rolling up to a gas station. No drops on the new bike, but to this day I am extremely weary of gas stations!
2010 tC
no bike
dropped my 05 zx6r today at the gas station trying to fill the tires. i was rolling it for and aft trying to get the valve stems at a good place to get the filler in. and blunk. if only i had the energy to tell the story of what i had to do to get the right tire pressure today. it pretty much took me an hour and a half to fill my tires with air today....
I relinquish the title happily.
Live life to its fullest, you never know when you'll get a second chance.
I did the shoelace thing with my R6 once in traffic.... bike didn't hit the ground but it came DAMN close. I ended up stomping down and breaking the shoelace, luckily it broke.
