I love seeing the driver of the car next to me at a light look over at their s/o in the passenger seat and say, "Honey, look at this idiot!"
I haven't seen another bike in quite some time on the road.
I think I'll throw the suit on and chase some twisties this weekend. Should be wide open, might need some heated hand grips though. Racer winter gloves have reached max usable temp.
Anyone else? I know you're out there...

My bike isn't put "away" yet
Not me. Hung it up about a month ago.
Ummmm... Yea, fuck that. It's too cold and my vagina freezes to the seat this time of year. It takes too long for the snail trail to thaw and release me from the bike. Because of this tremendous inconvience, I do not ride in this weather.

Randy is.
As long as the snow haven't fallen yet, when the sand and salt trucks come out I'll park her. The Gerbings has been one of my best investments yet. Keeps me toasty.![]()

If I don't have to drive the truck to work (bring stuff to work, giving people rides), I still ride in. I rode to work yesterday. All I need is a better pair of gloves and I'd be happy as a clam.
After the first good snow storm I'll put it away. My driveway becomes impassable after a storm or two (steep, ice forms quickly).
My bike is still on the road but I havent been out. With the gear that I currently have, anything below 40 gets wicked cold. I need some legit winter gear.
rob isn't riding daily, but if it isn't snowing or colder than 20, he typically takes his bike to work. this is compounded by the fact that we have one working cage right now.

Where's the raised-hand emoticon?
I haven't driven the cage to work since April, and I intend to keep it that way as long as possible.
I do need to pick up a heated vest sometime soon though so I can keep doing longer weekend rides without getting too cold.

Paging QuarterGig, this thread is for you!
I need to get a one-piece riding suit (textile) and heated gloves/grips... I just don't have the proper equipment to ride when it's this cold out (otherwise, I'd be riding!)
couple days a week. these past morning have been pretty damn cold

I can't say enough good things about the Fieldsheer Adventure jacket/pants combo. With the right layering (no electrics) I'm comfortable riding on low 20 degree days. Tons of pockets, excellent visibility (tons of reflective fabric on it), and (IMHO) better looks than a lot of the touring gear.
