uhg, that really sucks dude. Sorry to hear that but I'm super glad you weren't seriously hurt as that kinda crash is generally very unforgiving. Happy to hear that you're alright & I hope to see ya at the end of the month

Glad to hear you got out alive, but go back to the Drs about the thumb, could be something swelling pressing on a nerve or actual nerve damage

Sucks, but glad you're ok. I'll give another +1 to keeping an eye on your injuries and keep visiting the Dr. Make sure it's well documented and lots of xrays/MRI's are taken if need be.

Thanks guys. Yeah I'm thinking about doing a follow up at my regular physician either way just to make sure everything is ok.

The insurance adjuster was over yesterday to start the claim. She said to make sure I keep track of out of pocket expenses for health. I guess the health end of it won't be taken care of for at least a few weeks to make sure that I'm ok but I really don't wanna close out the case anytime soon just in case.

That's exactly what I was thinking, especially with the helmet as banged up as it is.

I had a very similar accident recently. ITS HER FAULT! Thats how you approach your insurance company. If you physically hit the car its their fault no ifs and or buts. Hope you had full coverage because your Ins company should pay that out quickly and the go after hers.

Dude you have an EX! Maybe if you had some actual brakes you could have stopped in time.

Just kidding. Glad your gear worked and you weren't hurt too badly.

Yeah I mean I keep thinking about it and if anything had changed just the slightest bit I could be dead now. Honestly I choked when it counted by just grabbing at the front brake. I don't have a bike now anyway, but it may be a while before I can really get back into street riding.

damn man, glad you are ok there. Several years back I rode a nose wheelie into a guys bumper who turned left in front of me and then locked up thebrakes when he saw me...good thing I wasn't going any faster
