1953 Vincent on eBay

Hmm, think I'll have to sell one of my Desmodici's in order to swing this one...

So the interesting thing about this bike is it was the grand prize in a raffle. The winner of the raffle could choose the bike or cash, and the guy took cash, so the folks running the raffle are putting the bike on eBay. According to the other forum where I learned about this, the guy was given $25k in lieu of the bike. My guess is the guy is smashing his head pretty hard against the wall right now...

Amazing to me how valuable these Vincents are. Some folks even in this economy still have money I guess.

PS I don't really have a fleet of Desmodici's, but I would gladly trade my rusty 1975 CB400F for one.
