Also if you could salvage the right side firing insert or a swing arm fairing plug I will pay you handsomely

Something happened there because I did not have this option of avoiding a salvaged title once the insurance company took it.

That's exactly what happened to my buddy. You "supposedly" have to report that it's salvage getting a title again at rmv or smth like that. But yeah, his bike was totaled, bought back from ins. and re-registered AND insured again in the same company. All with clean title

Well, as I said, I have my sister's FZ6 once she goes in for shoulder mods.

I may keep the oil warm in that for a little while.

Bergs, I went through this 3 years ago. I know how it feels. I had My duc for 8 years and it was part of my identity. I mourned the loss for a while. I waited 2 years to replace it. I did get a dirtbike though. That gave me a fresh interest in riding without going straight back into the streetbike thing. Then I got a nice motard for the street. It's great! all the fun of a sportbike at 80 or below, plus dirtbike shenanigans and dirt road exploring!

Anyway, good luck and consider something different.

the FZ6 is a fun bike, but the suspension is total turd, so be careful unless there has been some oil and spring work done. Shepo had an 08 leftover FZ! for a killer deal a week or so back. The new FZ1 is awesome and makes me want to trade my 07 FZ6 for it, but the $'s aren't there for us right now.

It's probably too late Bergs, but it depends "how" totaled it was. They have a certain ratio of the worth that once the damage exceeds it, they serve to lose less money by totaling it. Mine was totaled but close to the ratio... I was able to argue with them and have it not totaled, mostly by proving to them that the bike was worth more than they said it was, thus lowering the ratio (tell them about about mods, you will need to provide receipts)... Anyways... it's just a bike

Bergs, you know youre my boy, and youre needs and wants are in my thoughts, but I think we've skipped over the most important question in this whole scenario.

Hows Devo dealing with this tragedy?
