    Fast Lane

Can any one recommend a good fast lane holder for my bike, holding in my pocket rarely works.

    For example: http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/productview/3008

I move my tag between bikes with ease using one of these.

I used double sided foam tape and mounted mine inside the fairing. It worked, an no one knew it was there to try and steal it!

I just put mine in the clear map pocket of my tankbag. It usually works. I couldn't give a rat's ass if/when it doesn't - they snap a pic, then verify their records anyway to make sure you're legit. It's failed to register a handful of times, but I've never received any type of notifications, so I'll assume they figured it out on their end...

Mine has failed to register on the Rte 16 and the Hampton tolls a bunch of times. Probably cause I don't own one. I never heard from them.

I just use that heavy-duty plastic "velcro" that you get from the FastLane service centers and mount it inside the windscreen. Hasn't failed me yet.

The transponder on Annalisa's bike is now 11 years old, has been wet on a few occasions, and still works.

That's the problem with me.. you get 2 "grace" period shots... after that, they will fix it only if you go to fastlane and tell them. They also charge you an extra $1 video toll processing fee after the first 2.

I yelled at them a little when I first found this out, especially when one of the pictures had me with my hand in the air and the transponder in plain sight.

They refunded me for that month, even for the extra $1.00 video tolls.. but no more after that. What a scam. Mine didn't register and I used to velcro inside the windshield. In the pocket doesn't work for me either unless I'm pushing the bike through in heavy traffic where I'm sure that it's so slow anything could read.

I do the same, but admittedly I haven't used it much. Worked great the few times I did use it though.

I do the same, but also use what we called in the Army an "Idiot Rope" attached to the .bike

The Hooksett toll is notorious for overcharging. If you go through, be sure to check your statement the following month.

Really? I've never had a problem with the Hooksett tolls and I go through 'em at least 3 or 4 times a week, sometimes 10 times a week. The Rochester (NH) tolls on the other hand...
