If ya want more 'off the line' go up a coupla teeth on your rear sprocket. There's a thread around here with a link to a site explaining any and all gearing questions....
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
This should explain it all.....-----> http://www.renthal.com/site/resources/ratios.htm
That thing got a KAWI in it?????? SWEEEEEET!!!!!!!

Waz up brotha? I just found this site today. Order a sprocket and maybe a chain online and come to my house. I will throw it on for you. Rear sprocket is best but may require a new chain. Front sprocket is cheapest and does not require a chain.
Going -1 in the front is about the same as going +3 in the rear. Give me a holla at work if you want me to help you change the sprocket.

One of these should do the trick.
Little more expensive than a sprocket change unfortunately.

Cheapest way to accelerate harder is to slip the clutch a little more upon taking off...
If I want to go like hell, I just bring it up to about 3500 to 4000 RPM and slip the clutch until bike catches up with the engine (adding throttle the whole time). Only takes a second or so and if done right the front tire will be skimming the pavement the whole time. Short shift into second at about 9000 to 10,000 RPM and you'lll be right in thg meat of second gear which you can take to the redline without fear of looping, though the front'll come up a bit around 80 MPH.
What color is your 9R? Mine's the classy candy lime green.
