My wife said the same thing, but when it is said with the wow that looks fast look and you be careful tone we know they are not talking about lane splitting........
Well I'll be damned, an entire website that has it wrong! On the Internet no less. WTF is next?!(Attention: This paragraph contains sarcasm.)
The way I learned it was:
Lane splitting: Riding between cars/lanes, on the white line. (wiki)
Lane sharing: Riding two abreast, two motorcycles in the same physical lane, both (at least theoretically) between the lines. (wiki)
Apparently I'm not only financially irresponsible, but I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about.Gee, what next?!
Not that it matters. Was being a smart ass and apparently it didn't translate via the 'net too well. Peace?!
Hey, just how I learned it. I've been wrong before and will be again. Sorry 'bout that.
Are we really arguing the differences between lane splitting & sharing? Maybe we should change the topic from "Your favorite ignorant comments" to "Your favorite pointless arguments"
The website I linked above says•Stay, more or less, in one lane or the other. Excessive meandering might get you cited. (CA code 21658)
