I have three sets of Kimpex grip heaters and like them. I hear Symtec are better. They can be purchased at www.casporttouring.com for $27.Originally posted by hohum
Currently its the lack of time to work on the bike. I have ordered the accessory socket kit, but there isn't a good heated grips kit for the bike that I have found...
Cheers,
Chris

Just ordered a set of the Symtecs... Thats rockin... I was looking for a set of grips with integral heaters (like on my BMW), and I hadn't found a kit for the Triumph yet...
Thanks,

But when we ride very fast motorcycles, we ride with immaculate sanity. We might abuse a substance here and there, but only when it's right. The final measure of any rider's skill is the inverse ratio of his preferred Traveling Speed to the number of bad scars on his body. It is that simple: If you ride fast and crash, you are a bad rider. If you go slow and crash, you are a bad rider. And if you are a bad rider, you should not ride motorcycles.
If ya got compressed air handy, you can get the stock grips off, and back on over the heaters, without damaging them. I use a 30 amp relay triggered off an ignition lead and a 10 amp fuse between my heaters and my electrical system to prevent them from accidenatlly draining my battery while parked. Lemme know if ya need any advice on this aspect of the install.
