mine is not very used and abused?![]()
i use 2 to slow down, 4 if im going to end up stopping.
I feel more controlled breaking with 4, never had a problem with grabbing too much with 4 fingers.

I have a harder time modulating the throttle while braking with 4 fingers. Makes me ether rough on the throttle or on the brake.

Drum brake on my race bike requires four fingers so I do that on the street too.

Depends. Braking to stop or really slow down in a hurry = 4 fingers. If I'm scrubbing a little speed or brake-checking = 1-2 fingers.
I only use the "you're # 1" finger for braking
one finger + stainless lines, pads, and a radial puts the rear into the air
Usually 2 on the brake. I find I need all 4 for the clutch though, its brandy new and it seems to catch right away, so the extra control is nice. Sometimes I go all 4 on the brake, but I'd have to agree that it doesn't matter how many fingers you use, its all about control. I also always cover my brake.
