So I'm thinking of hitting up the fishtail riding school's day at NHIS on the 4th of SEP. It seems to be the only trackday that I can make while I'm home on leave and it happens to be an Italian day to boot. Has anybody here gone to one of their events, and how was it?
FISHTAIL RIDING SCHOOL
It's Bruce Meyers of BCM Ducati fame. Very good, down to earth guy.
Putting his hands in the air, like he just doesn't care.

I'm doing the 5th. Bruce is a great guy and will definitely be able to make it a good day at the track. Especially for a fellow Duc rider (i.e. setup and riding tips for all models).

If I can get tires this weekend I'll be at one or both the Fishtail days next week.
I just signed up for the 5th, will be there with 3 others. We'll be on three Aprilias and one SV. Beer?
I'll be there on the 4th, and depending on how silly I feel... I may skip out on work and run the 5th also...![]()
I must be getting smarter because I waited untill the end of the day to crash.
I got into the throttle a little to hard/early coming out of T12 and the back came around as soon as it hit the transition. I think. Fishtail put on a good day, with a kickass lunch.
Great day! Lots of track time and only a few crashes (sorry to hear about yours burnham). It was fantastic for the last two sessions, there were maybe 10 riders out for each...Wooh Hoo !

I've done several BCM trackdays when Bruce was there and they had something special going there. I guess he's got the same set up at his new school with the delicious lunch and instructions, but the half hour travk time is a plus.
Im glad he's not doing ducati only trackday cause I sold mine,so maybe next year I'll be signing up for a fishtail td.
