got my ex to run today. then realized i had a gaping hole in the exhaust cross over pipe. i really dont want to buy new headers or even used ones. any ideas on fixing this? i was thinking of just cutting the cross over pipe out completely and welding it up. heres what im talking about

lol at the pink hammer. Make sure everything is on correctly. A common mod on the ex's is to trim and pull those together as close as possible to eliminate dragging.
Hey that's my GF's hammer!
She said she left on the couch, and when she got up, it was gone?
Where did you find it?![]()

Cool I am gonna "improve my ground clearance" too.
Even though the Hawk will only be allowed on a nudge, nudge, wink, wink basis.

Get a heavy duty clamp & a ratcheting tie-down... wrap it around the headers near the x-over. Tighten it so it pulls them together & clamp em down good.
Done.
