I am planning on getting my rear sets and passenger foot peg brackets powder coated. What I need to get is some replacement foot pegs that are black and will WORK! I've seen to many pegs just stay down. I need blacks ones.
Anyone have any ideas on good ones?

I can resist everything but Pete's mom.
Can't powder coat them cause they have that integrated rubber on them. I want aftermarket black ones.

i bought a set of vortex for the driver pegs they are real nice. and what ive read seems the pas ones are good and dont "fall"over time
I got black pegs for my SV off ebay. They work fine, and are very easy to install.
They look identical to these:

Thanks for the ideas guys. Richie, any idea on where to find just Vortex foot pegs? The only thing I can find is the pegs they sell for their rear sets.

i just went to a local shop and had em order em for me they fit in my stock bracket.
Do they solid mount or do they fold like stock ones?

i have the driver pegs and they have the spring in em to move like stock. from what ive seen the rear pegs fold up and you have to put them down yourself. the people i know with them a few even put a peg down to rest their helmet on then fold it back up when their done and it doesn't fall back.
I'm gonna try and find those, Vortex's site didn't have them.

if you're looking for just a solid peg, see if tricky mike can make you some. if you're looking for a full rearset look for anything other than vortex. i have SATO rearsets on my gixxer, but that's because i got a good deal on them. I'd look into woodcraft or some company in japan (GP something) that makes rearsets similar to SATO for a fraction of the price.
No full rear set for me, to much cake. I may do the stock gixxer deal and then have them coated with the other stuff. Or the flea bay jobs.
