I've been pining for this since Bezzi's design was released at the beginning of the year...no word yet, so I was starting to lose hope. It would have to be an 1100SS, and I'm guessing it'd be right around a $1000 markup over the M1100. I'll take one in white, please![]()
That's hot

The 1000/1100 Dual Spark motor is a really fun motor on the track, always enjoyed ripping that motor around.
I rode this at PIR in Portland. 1000DS motor in a 748 chassis. Very cool. Built by MotoCorsa. Similar to the above design in spirit.

Preface: I haven't read the articles/links above yet.
Looks sexy!!! but, why does Ducati need yet another bike??? They have the 848, 998, 1098, and 1198!
Ok, now I'll go read the articles... stand by for corrections to this post.

Boner.
I wonder what kinda rims it will have?
What's the main difference between this and the other slew of Ducs?

So it's pretty much a heritage thing, a throw-back bike. I like it. And yes, all the new ducs look very similar. I've never ridden an air-cooled bike on the street, are there other factors you have to take into consideration with an air-cooled bike vice a liquid-cooled bike? I know my R1 would overheat every freakin' time I ride down here in the VA heat if it were air-cooled...
Not a throwback... The SS has been around all along.
My 750ss AND my 900ss never had any overheating problems (They have oil coolers instead radiators)

When was the last model of the SS? Is there a 2008?
I think they may start to spread themselves a little thin if they get on this.
