If no one laughs when you do something stupid, how do you ever learn what you did was stupid?

Trying to pretend major fuckups were not made in ridiculous crashes is way too PC for NESR and motorcycling in general.

I agree completely that he was foolish.

But I know a lot of roads that are posted for 30 when 60 would be perfectly reasonable. And 100 would be dumb...but not so dumb that I can't imagine the possibility.
this is actually a good point...RI is famous for this....west wrenthem road in cumberland is 25mph in some sections 35 in the rest and should at least be a 45mph road....wide great visibility...100+ is excessive on this road but it has happened

when your going 30 and get passed by someone going 60 it feels like there going 100 more so if there high in the rpms . . .

    its all hear say tho

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

Re: Friend's son crashed in Somersworth, owned the bike one day.

Did his mother give him a swift kick in the ass on his way out of the hospital?

At the moment, I have 3 motorcycle accident victims on my unit, trached (breathing tube), PEG'd (feeding tube) and on a mechanical ventilator... 2 of them completely paralyzed and one should hopefully make a full, although long, recovery...

I am SO glad that he can walk out OK. If you need any nasty stories to tell him let me know, I can get pretty graphic. The streets can be a fun place, but also very scary. I hope that this unfortunate experience gave him some insight on how fragile a human body can be on a bike. :-)

If he gets back on you should suggest a TTD?

Apparently you've never tagged along on a NESR ride.
